Training Package

  • Training pay of $1,500 paid in two installments, less applicable taxes

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure the safety and comfort of customers by providing the very best service on our aircraft.
  • Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure.
  • Perform all work activities in accordance with established standards, policies, laws and regulations, including Federal Aviation Administration regulations.
  • Respond effectively during emergency situations. Provide emergency medical assistance (e.g., performing CPR and basic first aid) to assist individuals in distress.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages as well as receive and process payments for purchased items.
  • Provide customer service assistance such as lifting, transporting and stowing luggage into overhead bins or storage areas.
  • Answer customers’ questions and provide assistance, particularly to unaccompanied minors, the elderly, and individuals with special needs.
  • Effectively communicate verbally while making public address announcements, performing safety demonstrations, and providing instructions and timely informational updates.
  • Ensure the aircraft and customers are in full compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and safety guidance.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to accomplish work tasks.
  • Work in confined spaces with exposure to nuts, alcohol, animals, latex gloves, perfumes, cleaning solvents, fumes, dust, pet dander, etc. Individuals with allergies must manage allergies in accordance with onboard service standards.
  • Travel in an aircraft under pressurized conditions and perform airport operations.
  • Maintain professional appearance and compliance with uniform and appearance guidelines.
  • Be dependable, flexible, and committed to completing work assignments per Endeavor Air standards.
  • Manage time to complete required work assignments and ensure overall punctuality.
  • Adjust work activities to adapt to changing work conditions, such as scheduling changes.
  • Use mobile handheld devices and computers; work with basic programs such as Microsoft Outlook and Word to receive information, communicate, and complete work tasks.
  • Stay engaged and informed on all company and departmental communication to ensure updates are understood and implemented.
  • Communicate in writing to complete paperwork and detailed reports regarding incidents and/or discrepancies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to report and be ready to work at your assigned base within 2 hours (2.5 hours for NYC bases).
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent; BA/BS college degree preferred or a combination of education and related experience.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
  • Age requirement of 21 years minimum.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possess and maintain a valid passport and equivalent travel documents to freely enter and exit all destinations where Endeavor Air flies.
  • Meet established standards, policies, laws and regulations including Federal Aviation Administration Regulations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exceptional customer service skills and abilities.
  • Preferably one (1) year of customer service experience; two (2) years preferred.
  • Maintain a high level of personal decorum, professional conduct, and personal appearance.
  • Adhere to Professional Appearance Guidelines.
  • No tattoos on hands or fingers; tattoos must be covered when necessary.
  • No more than two pairs of earrings in the earlobes. One nose piercing may be worn on the side of the nose only.
  • No ear stretching gauges.
  • Familiarity with mobile handheld devices.
  • Complete four (4) weeks of Flight Attendant Initial Training, including two weeks of full‑time remote virtual classroom training and two weeks at the Endeavor Learning Center.
  • Complete Initial Operating Experience (IOE) during the two weeks immediately following graduation.

Physical Requirements

  • Height must not exceed 5’11½" or 71.5 inches (wearing no shoes, flat feet) due to the size of our aircraft.
  • Able to reach a minimum of 6'3" or 76 inches without shoes, from flat feet to fingertips.
  • Sit in any jumpseat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without a seatbelt extension. Jumpseat width is 21” at the widest part.
  • Open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds; push, pull, or move a beverage cart requiring approximately 32 pounds of force.
  • Hear and respond to communications in high background noise environments.
  • Work in aircraft aisles and galleys while standing, reaching (extended front, side and above) and walking; fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle and through any exit.
  • Be able to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Willingness to work in confined spaces and manage allergens such as nuts, perfumes, cleaning solvents, fumes, animals, pet dander. Serve alcoholic beverages and meals containing beef, pork, and seafood.

Professional Appearance Requirements

Tattoos
Visible tattoos are not permitted and must be covered by clothing or waterproof makeup. Tattoos on the hands or fingers are never permitted; covering with makeup is not an option due to frequent handwashing.

Hair & Nails
Hair color must be a natural‑looking hue. No stark highlights or unnatural shades. Hair longer than the shoulder must be pulled completely back and secured. Nails must be clean, trimmed, no longer than ½ inch, no neon or multi‑colors, adornments, designs, glitter or chrome finish.

Jewelry
Maximum of two earrings per ear. Earrings must be studs only and no larger than a dime. No hoop earrings. A single side‑nose piercing with a pinhead stud is permitted; no other facial or visible body piercings allowed.

Clothing
Professional attire is mandatory. Dresses and skirts should be at or below the knee. We provide accommodation for religious dress or visible physical appearance requests unless they create a safety hazard or undue burden.

Per diem is paid at $2.25. The starting pay is per credit hour, with 75 credit hours guaranteed per month. Pay increases occur as listed in the CBA. Hourly pay ranges from USD $26.23/Hr. to USD $48.48/Hr.
