About the Role Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join their expanding team in a fully remote capacity. This role is designed for individuals who excel in managing complex supply chains and coordinating the movement of goods across international borders from the comfort of their home office. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of freight, optimizing transportation routes, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders, including carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage international freight movements, including air, sea, and land transportation. Develop and optimize transportation routes to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to facilitate smooth transit of goods. Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to internal departments and external clients. Ensure compliance with all international shipping regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements. Resolve any logistical issues or disruptions that may arise during transit. Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and performance metrics using logistics software. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet client delivery expectations. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement in logistics operations. Requirements Proven experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, with a strong focus on international shipments. Solid understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Air Waybill). Proficiency in using logistics management software and MS Office Suite. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field is preferred. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. High-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space are essential. Experience with specific trade lanes or commodity types is a plus.
