Develop and maintain relationships with filmmakers, publicists, and industry professionals. Write compelling features, interviews, and opinion pieces on a wide range of arts and entertainment topics. Cover major film festivals and industry events, providing timely and insightful reporting. Contribute to strategic editorial planning and content development for the arts and entertainment sections. Maintain a consistent voice and adhere to journalistic standards and ethical guidelines. Represent our client at industry events and panel discussions. Stay abreast of emerging trends and new talent within the film and arts communities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Film Studies, English, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in film criticism, arts journalism, or a similar role. Proven track record of publishing high-quality critical reviews and feature articles. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with a sophisticated command of language. Deep knowledge of film history, theory, and contemporary cinema across various genres and international markets. Broad understanding of other art forms, including theater, visual arts, and music.
