This role supports the product development lifecycle by triaging issues, conducting research, and providing data-driven insights to inform backlog prioritization and strategy. It involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, test support, and regular communication with stakeholders to ensure product success and continuous improvement. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Triage product issues to help inform the product backlogBug/ defect testing and researchProvide tactical support and ad-hoc research for product that supports the product strategyIdentify concerns and research solutionsEngage with frontline leaders and team members to solicit and incorporate feedback into product planningProvide quantitative and/or qualitative analysis and insights to inform product backlog prioritizationSupport product playbacks with an emphasis on product metricsConduct product meetings: completes product tracking/ analysis reports; reports to management and business owners regarding product progress, issues, and risksPartner with business, IT, and leadership to facilitate product successReview and support test data, test plan, and test scenariosDevelop and maintain business rules for the productAbility to work across time zones as neededAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor’s degree in technology, business, aviation management, communications, or related fields2+ years of relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience3 years of relevant industry experienceSkills, Licenses & CertificationsWorking knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Rally or other product and project tracking toolsAbility to conceptualize, create and present analyses and strategies to all levels of leadershipKnowledge of Cognos, Mosaic, Tableau, etcAbility to effectively interact with all levels of employeesAbility to build strong consensus and achieve results as a teamAbility to think critically/ analytically and draw meaningful conclusion from large datasetsAbility to work under pressure, prioritize projects, meet all deadlines, balance the big picture with the requisite details and maintain flexibilityKnowledge of corporate policies and operational processes and proceduresWhat you'll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
