Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator - Part-Time 4-6 weeks project

Overview

• Must be able to work in the heat. Warehouse does have swamp coolers, but it does get warm!

Temporary Schedule 4-6 Weeks Project

Tuesday - Friday 8AM-4:30PM and Saturday from 6AM-2:30PM

Pay: $20hr. Weekly pay

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and materials handling, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes while adhering to OSHA regulations.

Duties

• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• A valid forklift certification is required
• Physical Work
• Perform order picking using RF scanners to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all materials are accounted for and properly documented.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an organized work environment and optimize workflow.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required, handling products weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution is preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in shipping & receiving processes is advantageous.
• A valid forklift certification is required
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed throughout the shift.
• Background and drug screening will be conducted.
